grasmere
Grasmere. Images from around Windemere and Grasmere in the English lake district.
Strolling around Grasmere there are some lovely walks around the lake or a leisurely stroll up to Easedale tarn, aor a visit to watersedge on Windemere this slideshow captures a few moments in time from a glorious sunny weekends in May.
Beacon Fell in the Mist. A small hill outside Preston contains some lovely walks in pine forest, providing a gentle stroll through woods leading to a small visitor centre. On this day a low mist provided some lovely light to allow me to capture these wonderful images.
A Rare Sight in St Annes on Sea.
We hardly get snow in St Annes, so to wake one morning to find 15cm on snow covering the ground is a rare treat, some children around here have never seen snow like this. This was a fine opportunity to play in the landrover, and capture these images.
Moon and Stars, I was amazed at the low light capabilities on my Nikon D5000, these images where taken around 1am, just using a tripod and remote control. The colours captured justshow how bad our own eyes are seeing in the dark.
